How the Night Unfolds
From the first welcome to the final goodbye — a gentle, unhurried progression designed for genuine connection.
Arrival & Welcome
Guests are greeted at the door, shown to the table and offered a complimentary glass of Champagne or a signature mocktail. The evening begins with introductions and the first warm exchange.
Supper Is Served
Four seasonal courses arrive at a relaxed pace. Each plate is introduced by the chef or host, with wine and mocktail pairings available throughout. This is the heart of the evening.
Hosted Social Table
After dessert, the table shifts gently into hosted, poker-inspired card play with symbolic chips only. Rules are simple, guidance is warm and the focus stays on laughter and company.
Final Drinks & Farewell
As the evening winds down, guests are welcome to linger over a final drink. There is no rush — the table stays open until the last conversation finds its natural end.

High Card Kitchen is first and foremost a dining experience. The card-table element is designed to enhance the evening, not define it. Here is what you can expect:
- Symbolic chips only — there is no monetary value attached to chips or outcomes at any point during the evening.
- Dietaries welcomed — please advise of any allergies or preferences when booking and our chefs will adjust the menu accordingly.
- 18+ venue — our evenings are designed for adults in a social dining setting. Valid ID may be requested at the door.
- Groups of all sizes — from intimate tables for two to full buyouts for corporate celebrations, we can tailor the evening to your group.
